  • Coach Bob Amorose
    Co-owner
    Hitting Coach

    Coach Bob has over 40 years of coaching experience including 11 years as high school baseball coach at Lincoln Park High School, 28 years coaching 18/U baseball at the American Legion, Connie Mack and Babe Ruth levels, and 1 year of summer collegiate baseball in the Detroit Adray League. Presently he is coaching the 18/U Rails Baseball Club which he has been doing since 1989. Lastly, Coach Bob has been doing lessons at the DBC for close to 20 years.

  • Coach Joe Olseski
    Co-owner
    Hitting & Pitching Coach

    Coach Joe developed an interest in coaching when he began acting as the pitching coach while playing 3 years on the Riverview varsity baseball team. Coach Joe has over 12 years of experience as a hitting and pitching instructor working with students ranging from ages 4 to adulthood. Prior to being an instructor at the DBC he was a student of Coach Jeff and Coach Bob for 6 years. He is also a nationally certified performance enhancement specialist, youth exercise specialist and a sports nutrition specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine where he's studied biomechanics and kinesiology.


    Besides baseball lessons, he also provides fitness lessons where he specializes in speed, agility and quickness training.

  • Coach Kayla Goodwin
    Softball Pitching Instructor

    Coach Kayla Goodwin attended the DBC years ago as a student and went to Allen Park High School where she helped lead the team to the State semifinals. She then went on to Grand Rapids Community College for 2 years before finishing her college career at the University of Michigan-Dearborn where she helped lead the team to the WHAC tournament championship for the first time in school history. Since then she has coached 7th grade softball in the Allen Park school district.

  • Coach Stephanie Plona
    Softball Pitching Instructor

    Coach Stephanie Plona comes from Game On in Taylor where she did instructional lessons and softball clinics for the past couple of years. Prior to that, Coach Plona spent time coaching the 10u Michigan Pride, Plymouth High School JV team, Divine Child High School JV team, and acted as the Head Varsity Coach at Wayne Memorial High School. Coach Plona most recently has acted as a graduate Student Manager at Eastern Michigan University.
